Concept evaluation 

If your book has not yet been completed, we offer a concept evaluation service that will assess your work and advise you as to how to proceed and how to avoid the common pitfalls. This will save you a lot of time and money in the later stages of publishing. It can be as basic or as extensive as you would like.

Depending on the type of book, we can evaluate the entire work or a sample thereof and provide you with a one- or two-page report. This will be done using the experience and skills of a professional editor, who will examine the book’s suitability for its readership looking at its language, tone and story structure, as well as its market potential.

Manuscript assessment

We will read through your entire manuscript, carefully examining its language, structure, characters, plot, style, tone, flow, dialogue, referencing, quotations and images, as appropriate. We will provide you with an evaluation report and mark up the manuscript itself where appropriate.
